Ye He

Ye He (b. 1998) was born in Hefei, China. She is currently living and working in London. Ye’s multifaceted practice includes photography, moving images, animation and writing, often navigating the realms of psychoanalysis and the occult to explore the margins of the spiritual world. Ye aims to create mirrored memories formed by different consciousnesses experiencing scenes. Within this intricate web of consciousness, the body frequently manifests a dream-induced schizophrenic state, characterized by its fragmented nature and resistance to control. Ye views experimental sites as forms of alchemy-reality-altering technologies that transcend material ontology and reveal deeper symbolic meanings.
